Dunroamin K9 Rescue

Mr July.

Our dog of the month of July is not Chester,
Chester
the 18 month old Staffy, although he and we hope this month is when he gets his new loving forever.

Our dog of the month is.................

Barney AKA Barney Big Ears

Barney

The name's Barney - 'Big Ears'. What's a lad got to do to get a new home round here?
As you can see I'm not too big, not too old (is there such a thing), in fact the right age and size for a new family to fall in love with me.
So I'm 7 months now, been waiting a while and I'm what you'd call a 'X breed', 'Heinz 57' - that sort of type!!
I'm friendly, playful, like to have fun and lots of walks would be great.
I do need to learn the basics, as I didn't get a good start - found myself with an owner and then on the streets without one. Luckily I was helped by Andrew, the Dog Warden , who asked Dunroamin to love me, thankfully before my stay at the pound was up. PHEW!!!
I'm thankful for that ....
If you think you could give me the future I'm looking for then ring either Lynda or Lorraine and ask about me. They'll be happy to tell  you what a lovely boy I am.
Love and Paws Crossed,

Barney

Here's another young boy who's not officially our 'Dog of the Month' so let's just call him our dog of the day for the next few days....

.......and a few words from Lucky's foster mum who happens to be a dog trainer.

Gentle, placid dog with a loving, affectionate nature. Gets on great with my other dogs, no problem with the cat. Loves everyone.
Would be a lovely young friend for a dog a bit older but who still has a sense of fun.
